The famous Egyptian comedian will start filming his newest movie “Bobos.”
The film also stars the great Egyptian actress Yusra, newcomer Ashraf Abed Al Baqi, Hasan Hosni, May Kasab, Lutfi Labib, Raja Al Jidawi, Hasan Mustafa, Yousif Fwzi, Sameh Hussein, Diya Al Mirghani and Yousif Dawood.

The script was written by Yousif Maati and the film will be directed by the young Wael Ihsan, who will be working with Imam for the first time.

According to the London daily Elaph, “Bobos” is produced by the art production company “Goodnews.”

Imam has postponed filming “Firqat Naji Atallah” (Naji Atallah Group) after producers faced problems with the Egyptian authorities because the screenplay touches on political points. The film tells the story of an Egyptian person that goes to Israel and steals from a bank.

“Bobos” tells the story of the economic crises that has hit the entire world and how it has affected Arabs, especially Egyptians. Imam and Yusra each lose a great fortune during the economic crises and come together to overcome the hard times ahead of them.

During a press conference held by “Goodnews” Imam saluted all Egyptians.

“Egypt has attracted artists from all over the Arab world to star in television dramas, films and even to become music artists,” said Imam.

Yusra said that she is very happy to work once again with Imam and the rest of the crew.

“I always choose roles that send a message to the public,” said Yusra.
