In a complete secrecy and without the mentioning of any reason, retired Egyptian star Sabrine has separated from her husband Yaser Abdul Lateef, a successful Egyptian businessman, according the UAE daily, Al Bayan.
The star refused to comment on the news, but said that she is staying now with her only son Noor at her mother’s house in Cairo. Several news circulated recently saying that the star gave up all her financial rights, in order to quickly finish the procedures.
Sabrine married husband Abdul Lateef 15 years ago after a real love story. He used to reserve the entire first two rows of the theatre where Sabrine was performing, and sit in the middle by himself. He used to follow her home, and send her massive bouquets of flowers, and the first time he actually got the chance to meet her, he immediately proposed.
Sabrine started a show business career at the age of five. Her relationship with her father, who was a trapeze artist with the National Circus, was similar, in many respects, to that shared by Umm Kulthoum and her father, which granted the star the opportunity to successfully play the role of Umm Kalthoum in the latest TV series she acted before her retirement. – Albawaba.com
