Upon her arrival at Cairo airport, UAE singer Ahlam refused to undergo a routine checkup for SARS that is done on all tourists and locals coming into Egypt. Ahlam created a big commotion at the airport that resulted in an argument with the on duty doctor Jihan Abdul Ghani, who told the head doctor at the airport to prohibit Ahlam from entering the country.
According to the Egyptian daily, Dar Al Tahrir, as a result of the fight that broke out, airport security rushed to the scene and convinced Ahlam to obey procedures. The lawsuit against Ahlam was dropped the minute she underwent the routine checkup, which she only underwent after 30 minutes of endless arguing with officials.
It was revealed that Egyptian director Yousif Shahin and Egyptian actress Yusra were on the plane coming from Beirut that Ahlam arrived on. The two underwent the necessary procedure for the SARS checkup without creating any commotion.
Ahlam has recently announced her wedding date to Mubarak Al Hajiri to be on the 15 of June 2003, taking place most probably in Qatar. The singer has also revealed that her new residence will also be in Qatar since its where her to-be husband is from.
Ahlam had finally confessed that there has existed for quite some time a love relationship between her and future hubby Mubarak, and he is her first and last true love. During a trip to London with her fiancé, Ahlam revealed publicly the true nature of her relationship with Mubarak saying that she is proud to announce to the world that she has found the man of her dreams.
Ahlam said that from the first moment she laid eyes on Mubarak she knew he was the man she was searching for all these years, and ever since they have not parted once. She found in him all the characters and traits any woman looks for in the man of her dreams.
On his part, Mubarak admitted that Ahlam is a very sensitive woman who needs extra care. He vowed publicly to protect, love and take good care of her and treat her like a queen. He added that Ahlam deserves all the good things life has to offer and he will make sure she gets them. –Albawaba.com
