Young Egyptian actor Ahmad Al Sakka is currently holding extensive work sessions with scenarist Hazim Al Hadidi and director Ahmad Salih to finalize the final details of his upcoming film “Remote Control”. The remaining cast of the film is also being chosen to prepare for filming the first scenes next month.
According to the Egyptian based weekly, Al Nogoom, Ahmad has decided to begin filming “Remote Control” after certain circumstances postponed the filming of his other films “The Mission” and “Private Bodyguard”.
It has been revealed that Ahmad has nominated Lebanese singer Alissa to costar in the film, which scenes will be shot between <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />Egypt and the United States of America.
The film will mark Alissa’s debut in the acting world and Ahmad has stressed that he will not reveal any details wanting it to be a surprise to all his fans. The singer gave her acceptance after countless doubts fearing that entering the cinema may reflect negatively on her singing career.
Al Sakka has announced his entrance into the world of television commercials by signing with one of the international food production companies. The actor has recently completed shooting his first TV commercial between Cairo and Sharm El Sheikh in Egypt, which lasted for three days.
In the commercial Ahmad will act as an action hero, as is the case with most films he takes part in. The commercial was directed by an Italian director, who also directed action scenes in Ahmad's film "Tito".
