Ahmad Fishawi admits to having an illicit affair with Hind Al Hinawi

Young Egyptian actor Ahmad Al Fishawi has made a shocking revelation on the show “Al Bait Baitak” regarding the nature of his relationship with interior designer Hind Al Hinawi. Ahmad admitted to having an illicit affair with Hind, but stressed that they never married in secrecy.

Ahmad revealed that there might be a chance that Hind’s child is his, due to the fact that the affair with Hind was very intimate. Ahmad added that he has been on a guilt trip the entire time for behaiving in such a matter that is against all the teaching of Islam and has requested the consultation of an Islamic preacher to guide him and advise him on what to do.
 
The case against Fishwai has gone international, with the British and American press taking a keen interest in the case considering it a liberal step taken by Egyptian society. Recently, the London newspaper The Guardian had published an article titled “A New Egypt Waiting to be Born” considering the candidness of a single mother like Hind Al Hinawi, who is not married, in a conservative society like Egypt, and the support she has received from different people reflects the change that Egyptian society is going through.

According to the London based, Elaph, the paper also noted that the scandal Ahmad is involved in claiming that he is not the father of Hind’s child has led to a stoppage of his religious program. It was added that everyone in Egypt is anxiously awaiting the results of the DNA tests, which the family court demanded of Ahmad, Hind and the child to undergo, that will prove the fatherhood of the child.

An Egyptian Family court has set May 26, 2005 as the day it will make a verdict in the case against Ahmad filed by 26-year-old interior designer Hind based on the DNA results. Hind is demanding that Ahmad declare his marriage to her and admit being the father of her baby daughter Lina.
