Despite the sudden deterioration of Egyptian actor Ahmad Zaki's health condition over the death of his close friend Mamdouh Wafi, the actor is scheduled to begin shooting the first scenes of his upcoming film "Al Andaleeb" once his condition returns to normal. The actor has revealed that he is persistent to begin shooting the film to have it ready in the soonest time possible.

Director Sherif Arafeh is placing the final touches on the film in order to begin filming in early November. Ahmad has already held extensive sessions with makeup artists in order to make him look like the late idol Abdul Halim Hafez, whose character Ahmad will portray in the new film.

Recently, Ahmad went on a strict diet in order to perfectly portray the role of late Egyptian legendary singer Abdul Halim Hafez in “Al Andaleeb”. The actor is also undergoing intensive work sessions to place the final details of his upcoming film, which is his debut film to the entertainment world after being away from the scenes for so long.

Zaki requested of writer Mahfouz Abdul Rahman to complete the script of the movie, which tells the story of the late Egyptian legendary singer Abdul Haleem Hafez. Zaki asserted that he is willing to work 10 hours a day in order to finish this movie, but the actor's doctors stressed that he cannot work more than 4 hours and may allow him to work 6 hours later on.

Ahmad revealed that he is so eager to do this movie because he is living a similar story in real life now. The actor is currently doing an intensive study about the life of the great singer in order to be able to perform his character in the most accurate manner.

Zaki has been placed under strict supervision after his health condition deteriorated resulting from the news of his best friend’s death Egyptian actor Mamdouh Wafi. The actor has been placed in a private room at Dar Al Foad hospital and visitors are prohibited from entering.

Dr. Hassan Al Banna, head supervising doctor of Zaki’s health, revealed that it was expected that Zaki’s condition will deteriorate because he is very sensitive and a is a very good friend of Wafi.
