Egyptian prominent actor Ahmad Zaki is currently undergoing psychological treatment at the hands of Doctor Ahmad Okasha, after the actor fell into a state of severe depression and refused to continue his treatment for lung cancer. The actor has become very pessimistic about his healing process and decided to discontinue all tests, treatments, and chemotherapy session believing that there is no hope left for him.
According to the UAE based daily, Al Bayan, another factor that added to the actor’s depression is the news that reached him when he left the ICU room, which stated that he had passed away after encountering a heart attack. the actor was shocked to see such large crowds of people in the hospital, who apparently believed that he had passed away. It was added that a rumor, which stated that the French doctor who is to examine the test results of the actor, had refused to continue studying the case saying that the actor’s condition was beyond helping. All these factors kept adding to the psychological state of the actor making him gloomier as days passed by.
Last week, doctors supervising the health condition Zaki stressed that the actor was showing positive signs of recovery. Dr. Hassan Al Bana revealed that the actor went through a very critical stage and they are doing all they can to improve his condition in the soonest time possible. Ahmad was under strict supervision in ICU to ensure that no further complications arise.
Zaki had encountered a severe heart attack that called for his immediate admittance into the ICU. Egyptian doctor Hassan Mitwali, who is one of the supervising doctors of Egyptian Ahmad Zaki' health condition, revealed that the heart attack occurred the moment the actor heard the news of the decease of Egyptian prominent actor Mahmoud Mursi. –Albawaba.com
