Ahmad Zaki suffers numerous brain strokes

Dr. Yasser Abdul Qader, who heads the medical team supervising the health condition of prominent Egyptian actor Ahmad Zaki, has sent a detailed report of the actor’s status to the Egyptian Minister of Health, in order to keep him updated up to the minute. In the report Dr. Yasser stated that the coma the actor fell into was a result of numerous brain strokes.

 

According to the Egyptian based daily, Al Ahram, the doctor added that the strokes have caused the actor’s blood pressure to drop dramatically making him loose consciousness. Dr. Yasser revealed that the treatment they are using on the actor concentrates on making the brain function properly, stressing that the his condition is very critical since the stoke caused damage in some of his brain cells.

 

Zaki has fall into a coma on Sunday March 20, 2005, forcing the administration of Dar Al Foad hospital, where the actor is staying, to move all the ICU equipments into his private room. Doctors have revealed that Ahmad’s condition is very critical and is becoming worse by the minute.

 

The actor had been taking a stroll around the hospital garden on a wheelchair, and upon his return to the room, he experienced complications in his breathing leading him to fall into a coma. The condition of Ahmad remains very critical and unstable and the oxygen level in his blood is dropping dramatically.
