Egyptian actor Ahmed Zaki is currently preparing to shoot a film about the Egyptian scientist Ahmed Zweil who won a Noble Prize in 1999, according the Qatari daily Al Raya.
Zaki is studying the scientist’s character who will supervise writing the film script.
Zaki made this move after the great success which his film Ayyam Al Sadat (Sadat Days) has achieved and the hefty revenues exceeding five million pounds which it generated in the first week of screening.
Zaki played the character of the late president Jamal Abdel Naser in his film Naser 56 in addition to starring in a TV series on the life of the prominent Arab writer Taha Hussein.
Moreover, the Egyptian actor Hasan Yousef nominated Ahmed Zaki to star in a series on the life history of the late Egyptian cleric Shaarawi.
It seems that Zaki has specialized in playing the roles of public and historic figures -- Albawaba.com
