The supreme religious authority in Egypt 'Al Azhar' approved of the upcoming drama "Azwaj al hajah Zahra" (The husband's of Zahra), which stars Egyptian actress Ghada Abdul Riziq. The episodes that were already filmed were presented to the 'Al Azhar' to be reviewed since it talks about polygamy.

The writer of the drama Mustafa Muharam revealed that he wrote the drama without consulting with 'Al Azhar' about the religous details, especial the issue of polygamy and how Ghada's character marries five different men. Throughout the events of the drama, Ghada discovers that she is married to five men at the same time without any prior knowledge. Since the issue of polygamy for women is against Islam the makers of the drama had to make sure that nothing presented in the drama insults the teachings of Islam.

The drama was approved of without the need of making any alterations. Egyptian actors Hassan Yousif, Karimah Mukhtar and Syrian actor Bassim Yakour will star in the drama that is directed by Mohammad An Naqli.
