After long months of struggle, Egyptian producer Sami Al Adel won the battle for producing the second part of the smash hit and controversial Egyptian movie "Al Limbi", which generated revenues amounting to 2.2 million Egyptian pounds in its first few weeks of screening.
The Saudi daily, Al Riyadh reported on Tuesday that producer Adel along with the movie's first part director Wael Ehsan are now gearing up the shooting of the second part with few changes in the movie's team.
Adel entrusted writers Nader Salah Addin and Sameh Sirr Al Khatem with the task of writing the Limbi's second part, instead of Ahmed Abdulla, who wrote the first part. Another change is that actress Abla Kamel will take the starring role infront of actor Mohammed Said, replacing young actress Hala Shiha, star of the first part.
"All scenes will be shot in Brazil and Spain as the movie's second part theme centers around bullfighting," said Adel confirming that the movie would be new and completely different from its first part.
It is noteworthy to mention that Sabki Production Company was the copyright owner of the first part of "Al Limbi", the movie which was the reason behind actor Mohammed Said's quick success.
The struggle on the movie's second part started when producer Magdi Al Hawwari notified the Egyptian censorship to refrain the licensing of any project holding the name of "Al Limbi", being the character's creator. The battle escalated between Hawwari and Sabki company, until Sami Al Adel granted the permission of producing the movie's second part. - Albawaba.com
