Kuwaiti music fans poured into the theater, occupying all the seats there to watch American guitar players Michael Bard and Corey Whitehead who played the guitar combining beautiful Spanish, Italian, Brazilian and American tunes Monday night.
According to the Kuwaiti Official News Agency (KUNA), the duet chosen by the US State department to go on a music tour for Yemen, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Bahrain and Morocco, put on an excellent performance that pleased the audience present yesterday at the cultural theater of abdulaziz Hussein.
The concert was held within the activities of the eighth al Qurain Cultural Festival. Whitehead holds a master degree in music performance from Arizona State University and is currently preparing for a doctorate degree in music.
