Al Saher sings for Qatar

Iraqi singer Kathem Al Saher composed a song especially for the Qatari people. Al Saher sang his song at the Ninth Doha Music Festival.

The song is called “Salmi LI” (God Bless You), written by As’ad Al Ghariri and Kathem Al Sa’di.

During the Festival Al Saher performed in honor of the legendary Egyptian singer Muhammad Abed Al-Wahab.  Al-Wahab received a lifetime achievement award at the Festival.

According to the London daily Elaph, Al Saher was granted Qatari citizenship last year.
