Lebanese singer Alissa is one of the most talked about singers, continuously faced with rumors and attacks published by tabloid newspapers.

Despite the accusations, Alissa is one of the singers least likely to publicly defend herself.

According to the London based Elaph, Alissa’s stardom has flourished do to her determination and hard work, and her passion for building her signing career.

Alissa revealed that in the future she will answer back to those who published lies about her, and doubted her success.

“I am fed up with being attacked by jealous individuals who strive to ruin my image,” she asserted.

The fact that over 100 thousand fans attended her recent performance in Oman, and over 120 thousand in Morocco, along with her high record sales, proves her talent, according to the star.

Alissa declined to comment on the latest public remarks made by her rival Lebanese singer Haifa Wahbi.

Haifa stated that, “Alissa is jealous of me and my success.”

According to the Egyptian daily, Al Akhbar, Alissa stated that Haifa has the right to say what she pleases, and she is not obligated to reply.

Alissa explained that she has all the characteristics that make her beautiful, giving her no reason to be jealous of anyone, let alone Haifa.

Alissa also asserted that she does not rely on producing provocative music videos to gain popularity, and is not opposed to being considered a sexy woman. Being attractive is not a sin, Alissa noted, stating that her fans are the real judge of her talent.
