Lebanese singer Alissa finally held a press conference in Egypt, organized by the production company Rotana, to talk about her latest album “Ahla Dunia” (The Perfect World), and expressed her happiness at the success the album has so far witnessed in Egypt. Alissa revealed that personal reasons were behind the delay of her press conference in Egypt.
According to the London based Elaph, Alissa revealed that at the current time she has not begun any preparations for her upcoming album, wanting to take time off to relax. She added that she intends on shooting a new video clip for the song “Irja’ Lil Shook” (Come back to Love) in the near future, but has not decided on a director yet.
Alissa noted that she is prepared to go into the acting world, but has not received any tempting offers to mark her debut. The singer denied the existence of any dispute between her and Lebanese singer Haifa Wahbi, stressing that people are giving the matter more importance than it deserves.
Alissa regretfully revealed that she is not living any form of a love relationship, but like any female she awaits the arrival of Mr. Right into her life. Alissa has denied circulating rumors that she is living a romantic love affair with a Prince from one of the Gulf countries and that the two plan on getting married in the very near future. The singer stressed that the rumor holds no truth and that she is not involved with anyone from the Gulf or even from her own country Lebanon. Alissa revealed that she recently she has been attacked with so many rumors regarding her involvement with different men, but unfortunately not one was true.
A serious dispute erupted among the organizers of the Jordanian annual summer festival Jarash after Alissa's concert proved to be a big failure. Alissa demanded a big amount of money for her wage for a single concert but the management could not cover the costs because only 400 tickets were sold.
After the huge loss of money it has been revealed that there is a possibility that the people who suggested Alissa's participation in the festival will be discharged of the their positions. Alissa was so careless about the festival and its organizers that she only sang one song and then used a CD to play her other songs and was only moving and dancing with the music.
Fans were disappointed by Alissa's behavior that showed disrespect to her audience and blamed the management for inviting a reckless singer to a world famous festival.
Alissa revealed that people accuse her of being arrogant but she is not however she is very conservative in her relations with people.
