Lebanese singer Alissa has celebrated her birthday among family members and close friends from the entertainment world and outside at the Mandaloun club in Beirut. After the singer cut the cake she rose up to stage and began singing a collection of songs from her previous and most recent albums.
According to the London based Elaph, the original date of Alissa’s birthday was October 27, but she was forced to postpone her celebration due to her extremely busy schedule during the past week in Cairo. Host of the Egyptian television show "Al Bait Baitak", Tamer Amin, held Alissa as the guest on the program and announced to viewers that her clip "Agmal Ihsas" will be aired for the first time. Unfortunately due to a ban on all of Alissa's music videos in Egypt, because of the fact that they are considered to be too seductive, the host was unable to air the clip and instead the behind the scenes of the music video were aired.
Viewers were able to see how Alissa followed the instructions of the director of the clip very precisely in addition to how simple and down to earth her manner is. During the program the singer revealed that her real name is Alissar and her first production company had suggested that she be called Alissa as her fame name.
Alissa has recently completed filming her upcoming music video for the song “Irja’ Lil Shooq”, which the singer decided to film after the song won in a poll held. Alissa sought American director Brandon Dickerson to direct the video and American model Douglas Jones to star in the clip with her.
Alissa portrays the role of a famous fashion model. The singer revealed that the idea behind the clip was new to her, but once she read the script for it she knew it would be the perfect idea. She added that she is hopeful her fans will be satisfied with the new clip. –Albawaba.com
