Awarded Best Lebanese singer for 2002, singing sensation Alissa expressed her joy in a recent interview by the Qatari Daily, Al Raya, for the huge success of her latest Album "Aishalak" (I Live For You).

“My album’s success is going beyond Lebanon. All Egyptian TV channels are screening the music video of “Ayshalak,” the singer told the newspaper. She also stated that the success could also be due to the five Egyptian songs she made.

Alissa’s new song, “Aishalak” has been at the top of the Arabic music charts, and its music video has also proved equally popular, which has the singer appearing ‘chilled’ in a dreamy and romantic setting.

Alissa’s 13-song album, produced by Music Master International, marks the singer’s first time with Egyptian writers and composers, like Mohammed Rifa’i, Khaled Izz, Mohammed Raheem, as well as others.

In response to the question as to whether she is living a love story these days, Alissa said that she has been thinking recently about marriage and starting a family, “but I’m leaving all this to fate.”

“I loved three times, and none were able to succeed and continue. I was young then, but now I’m looking for a relationship that is more mature,” Alissa concluded. – Albawaba.com
