There is a fierce competition currently taking place between the two Lebanese singers Alissa and Carol Samaha to win the leading role in the next Ramadan riddles. It seems that Alissa is closer to win the competition after she agreed on all the production terms, which include reducing her wage.
From her side Carol had also agreed and showed full cooperation with the production sector however, Alissa is more likely to win because she is supported by a well-connected businessman who is willing to be a partner in the production if the producing company agrees on broadcasting the riddles on his satellite channel.
Alissa had postponed her visit to Cairo, which was expected to take place in the coming few days, for attending the ceremony celebrating the release of her new album “a7la Dunia”. The visit was postponed to the 12th of July for personal reasons according to sources.
After going to the Music Production Rotana and her dispute with her old production company (Music Master), Alissa is facing a new wave of criticism after the release of her latest album “A7la Donia” (The Best World).
Alissa was supposed to release “A7la Donia” long ago but she said that many obstacles faced the preparations because of the different accents used in the 13 songs of the album. She also filmed a video clip for her new song “Kol Yom Fi Omri” (Every Day in My Life).
With regards to the dispute with Music Master production company, Alissa said that it ended without having to go to court and the production company paid her money for the two albums she did with them. The third album “3aishalak” succeeded by her individual efforts and Jan Marie Ryachie and not because of Music Masters.
Alissa stressed that she does not see any competition between her and Haifa Wahbi because Haifa is nothing but a beautiful woman. With regards to Nancy Ajram she said that Nancy is a young girl but she has the potential to be someone very important in the future. Alissa added that every singer has his/her own fans and listeners and is not necessarily in a competition with others. –Albawaba.com
