After going to the Music Production Rotana and her dispute with her old production company (Music Master), prominent Lebanese singer Alissa is facing a new wave of criticism after the release of her latest album “A7la Donia” (The Best World).

Alissa was supposed to release “A7la Donia” long ago but she said that many obstacles faced the preparations because of the different accents used in the 13 songs of the album. She also filmed a video clip for her new song “Kol Yom Fi Omri” (Every Day in My Life).

With regards to the dispute with Music Master production company, Alissa said that it ended without having to go to court and the production company paid her money for the two albums she did with them. The third album “3aishalak” succeeded by her individual efforts and Jan Marie Ryachie and not because of Music Masters.

Alissa's video clip “Agmal Ihsas” faced lots of criticism and some accused her of presenting cheap seduction to the public. Alissa defended herself by saying that the video clip was about normal married couple who are supposed to love each other, it was just acting but critics tend to exaggerate to get public attention.

Alissa stressed that she does not see any competition between her and Haifa Wahbi because Haifa is nothing but a beautiful woman. With regards to Nancy Ajram she said that Nancy is a young girl but she has the potential to be someone very important in the future. Alissa added that every singer has his/her own fans and listeners and is not necessarily in a competition with others.

Alissa is going to sign her new album in Virgin stores in Beirut; the new album includes 13 songs full of love and romance. Like any other star Alissa was targeted with so many rumors like her love story with the model who did the video clip with her in the song “Agmal I7sas”. Another rumor was her love story with Amr Diab. Alissa commented that the model came for only two days to Lebanon and left the country after that , regarding Amr Diab she said that she works with him and he is a very good friend of hers.

Alissa denied recent allegations by Lebanese singer Haifa Wahbi accusing Alissa of being jealous of her. Alissa stressed that she is not jealous of Haifa nor of anyone in the entertainment world, for the mere fact that she is well content with herself and is confident of her talent and looks.

Haifa’s comments came as a result of the treatment she has been experiencing from Alissa, in which the latter had ignored her at several occasions. Alissa revealed that she had run into Haifa by accident and when she was still in a state of depression over the loss of her father and she simply did not feel like being social with anyone. –Albawaba.com
