Alissa to Record Duet Song with Chris De Burgh
The young Lebanese singer Alissa is currently making a new step towards international status as she has recorded a song along with the international star Chris Burgh entitled Lebanese Nights. The song written, composed and remade by Burgh who inspired it from his last visit to Lebanon combines between Arabic and English, according to the daily al Hayat.
The song was produced by Chris Porter, a prominent producer for leading stars including George Michel, and recorded at Chris Porter studio in Salisbury in Britain. It will be released within Burgh’s album during next August.
Alissa managed to acquire fame within few years and her songs have spread among young Arabs. She sang also along with the international star Sting and performed a charity concert that was attended by the former American president Bill Clinton, Queen Elizabeth and other international and Arab figures.
After a two-year sabbatical, the forthcoming summer will witness intensive activities by Alissa, as she will release her new album in June. The album is produced by Dilara Master and includes 14 songs, five in the Egyptian dialect.
