The latest album "Ahla Dunia" (The Perfect World) by lebanese singer Alissa is still occupying the number spot for record sale in Egypt despite the fact that it's date of release was eight weeks ago. Record stores owners revealed that album sales are still very high and is mostly for albums by new singers.

Alissa had postponed her visit to Cairo, which was expected to take place in the coming few days, for attending the ceremony celebrating the release of her new album “a7la Dunia”. The visit was postponed to the 12th of July for personal reasons according to sources.

Prominent Lebanese singer Nawal Al Zoughbi was filming her new video clip “3ineik Kaddabeen” in Starko district in Beirut, under the direction of Saleem Turk, at the same time Alissa was passing through with Tony Sam'an manager of technical affairs in Rotana. The two had seen a large crowd of people and become suspicious wanting to find out what was going on. Alissa and Tony passed through the crowd to discover that Nawal was filming a new video clip and so decided to stop and greet the singer. Nawal was very happy with the gesture especially since Alissa and Nawal have never met before. Nawal invited Alissa and Tony to stay and watch her in action.

There is a fierce competition currently taking place between the two Lebanese singers Alissa and Carol Samaha to win the leading role in the next Ramadan riddles. It seems that Alissa is closer to win the competition after she agreed on all the production terms, which include reducing her wage.

From her side Carol had also agreed and showed full cooperation with the production sector however, Alissa is more likely to win because she is supported by a well-connected businessman who is willing to be a partner in the production if the producing company agrees on broadcasting the riddles on his satellite channel. –Albawaba.com
