Syrian singer, actress Amal Arafeh recently completed recording the new duet “Dum Qalbi” (Hold My Heart) with Lebanese singer Majd Al Qassem. Majd stated that he had chosen Amal for the duet due to the romantic quality of her voice.
Majd added that the tenderness of Amal’s voice was so perfect for the romantic duet, he has included it in his upcoming album, anticipating its success.
Amal has already begun preparations for her upcoming album, and revealed that she plans on shooting a new music video for the song “Dum Albi.”
Amal has denied circulating rumors that she has decided to devote all of her attention to writing a new television drama series. Her previous Ramadan drama, “Ishtar,” witnessed tremendous success. Amal played the leading role in the drama and personally supervised the direction and production of the series.
Presently she does not have time to write a new series, the singer explained..
Although, Amal stressed that she does intend on paying more attention to her singing career. She added that she feels it is important for an artist to excel in more than one field.
