Lebanese singe Amal Hijazi announced that she is preparing to hold seven concerts consecutively in different cities around Tunisia. The singer’s concerts come after her participation at the Carthage Festival, which proved to be very successful.

According to the London based daily, Al Sharq Al Awsat, Amal’s tour will last until August 15, and upon her return to Lebanon she will hold a ceremony for the release of her latest album “Bidoor Ala Albi”. The singer has confirmed that the signing ceremony of her new album will be on September 5, 2004. Songs featured in the album are a mix of modern and romance sung in both the Egyptian and Lebanese accents.

Amal and Lebanese singer Wael Kfouri had one of the most successful performances during the Carthage festival nights in Tunisia, where the two competed to gain the love and affection of the fans.

The vast majority of the audiences were girls fond of the Wael and leaving only 200 tickets for the guys out of 12,100 people who attended the concert. Amal started with her hit [Aeinak] to be followed with [Romancia] and [Ah Habibi]. The beautiful singer showed up with a breath taking white dress that dazzled the audience. The successful night at Carthage proved that no matter how seductive and beautiful an artist is he cannot hold a live concert if he does not have real talent.

Hijazi has recently announced that her upcoming album will not be produced by her production company Music Master, and shortly afterwards revealed that she had broken her contract and separated completely from the company. It was revealed that Amal’s new album will be produced by the music production Rotana, which the singer had been holding extensive negotiations with.

Amal did not deny her cooperation with Rotana, but stressed that she had not signed the contract up till now. The singer’s album is basically complete and will be ready for release by April, which will also reveal the validity of her new contract. – Albawaba.com
