Amal Maher Puts on Umm Kulthoom’s Cloak

Egyptian late poet Abdel al Salam Amin, musician Ammar al Sherea’i, singer Amal Maher met in the operetta Ahla Blad al Dunia Masr (Egypt is the Most Beautiful Country) in which the creative vision was completed. 

Al Sherea’i and Amin had met in many huge artworks which were performed by a large number of singers and artists, through the Egyptian patriotic celebrations such as the anniversary of October 6 victory.  

The latest joint work by the prominent musician and poet was the operetta Ahla Blad al Dunia Masr which was performed by the young singer Amal Maher as part of a huge lyric show about Palestine and is still aired on the Egyptian TV channels. 

Maher performed the operetta with her expressive voice which is close to Umm Kulthoom’s. Yet, al Sherea’i who has adopted her talent, anticipates that she will be the Egyptian diva Umm Kulthoom’s successor – Albawaba.com
