Egyptian famous singer Amer Diab has warned those responsible at the Egyptian first channel for airing parts of the last “Music Awards” ceremony that took place in Monaco through the “Scott Henry” program.
Diab accused the channel of purposely taking specific negative poses of the famous singer to make him look bad. The famous singer refuses to be put in such a position where he is criticized and is made to look bad in front of those watching. He also stressed that he refused to accept showing behind the scenes clips of the awards ceremony show before they were edited.
On the other side, neither Amer Diab nor the Production Company Rotana has reached a decision on renewing their contracts together. On its side Rotana has released a new press release congratulating its singers who won the Music Award for the third year in a roll. The company is also honored to have such a powerful and famous singer to be awarded who has succeeded in selling the most records during the last year.
At the same time the owner of the production company Rotana Salem Al Hindi will be arriving in Cairo in the next few days to finalize a few deals for the company. Sources revealed that the contract between Rotana and Amer Diab will be renewed, because Rotana is hoping to keep him within the company since he is considered to be one of the most famous singers in the Arab world.
However, on the other hand there are rumors that say Diab is thinking of signing a new contract with the Egyptian Goodnews Production Company.
A source from Rotana released that Diab still has nine more months with the company and it is still too early to talk about renewing contracts or even thinking about it.
