The Famous Egyptian superstar Amr Diab apologized to the management of the “American Apple Page Music Awards” for not being able to attend and receive his award.
Diab recorded a short video message in English and in it he said “I apologize for not being able to be there at the award ceremony, but I would like to thank the management of the award and to also thank everyone that worked with me this year.” He also added, “I wanted to dedicate this award to my fans, thank you and enjoy this evening.”
Diab did not clarify why he wasn’t able to attend the award ceremony, but he received the award for best Middle Eastern artist of 2009. The award ceremony was held November 15th.
