Egyptian singer Amr Diab is scheduled to begin three different films at the same time in October. The singer expressed that he is forced to undergo such pressure due to the busy schedule he has.

According to the UAE based daily, Al Bayan, each film is written and directed by different people. The first is written by Waheed Hamid and directed by Tariq Al Nahari, the second scenario is by Ayman Bahgat Amar and directed by Sherif Sabri.

The third film is written by Midhat Al Adel and directed by Riyadh Al Aryan. Amr has stressed that he will not reveal any of the films names until all the scenarios are complete. In all three films, Amr will perform different performances and will use a team of over 1000 young men and women to take part in the three films. The team of dancers will be directed by a British choreographer and will undergo extensive training.

Diab has given his initial acceptance to be part of the prestigious Jordanian Jarash summer festival, to be among the large list of prominent Arab singers who will be participating in the big event. Amr's last appearance in the annual festival was in the late 1980's. Amr has agreed to hold one concert at the festival but the date has not yet been decided on. The festival, which has gained popularity worldwide, will feature local and international artists.

The Music Production Company Rotana held a press conference in which it officially announced Diab's admittance to their team. A large number of media representatives were invited to the big event that took place at a grand hotel in Beirut-Lebanon.

Amr had broken his contract with his previous production company Alam El Phan, which he had been a part of since the beginning of his career. Well-known TV announcer Jumana Abu Obeid was been chosen to make all the formal introductions at the big event. Amr has made all the necessary arrangements to be present at the press conference, in order to show his gratification for being part of the Rotana family of singers.

Amr's latest album "Alim Albi Al Gharam" features twelve songs, which were written by a number of prominent poets. The new album features Amr in a new look and music styles. He combined Tango, Jazz, Techno, and eastern genres all in one. “Alim Albi Al Gharam” is shot in London and will be launched on the new Mazzika TV channel.

Amr is known to be the highest paid Arab artist in the Middle East. His last wage for his album was over two million US dollars. It is known that Amr does not accept less than 60 thousands Egyptian pounds for performing in weddings or any other private party. –Albawaba.com
