Amr Diab Gets Ready for New Film

Mega star Egyptian singer Amr Diab will team up with Mona Liza in his next big screen project, Al Faris (The Knight), reported Akhbar AL Nujum magazine.

According to the Egyptian publication, the shooting of the film, directed by Hamed Saeed Al Mutreb, will begin following the Ramadan Eid El Fitr.

Filming for the love story will take place between Egypt and France.

The Knight talks about a butler, played by Diab, who falls in love with his master’s daughter, played by Mona Lisa. However, the class difference doom the love; which prompts the butler to leave Egypt and travel to Paris in order to look for work.

By coincidence, Diab meets an Arab millionaire who needs a kidney doner. The kind hearted butler decides to give the millionaire his doner but refused money in return.

The plot thickens even more when the millionaire offers the butler all his fortune under the term that he marries his only daughter.

But again, the butler refuses.

However, he does ask his new found friend to produce a music tape for him so that he can become the famous singer he has always dreamt of becoming. His wish is realized and he rushes back to the woman he loves in order to ask for her hand in marriage.

The greatest shock is still to come.

Aside from Diab and Lisa, the film stars Mona Zaki, Afaf El Amrousi and Abdullah Fadel. The story was written by Sharif Abdul Atheem. – Albawaba.com.
