The Administrative Court adjourned on Sunday a lawsuit filed by well-known singer Amr Diab against the privately-owned TV channel MBC Masr to May 24.
The singer is demanding the suspension of the show called “The surprise.. Days in the life of Al-Hadaba” (Ayam fe Hayat Al-Hadaba) because it was aired without his permission.
Diab said in the lawsuit that he was surprised with the airing of the show presented by Mamdouh Moussa, adding that it was made with him more than 10 years ago.
He also added that some scenes were filmed without his permission, which, he claimed, violates his personal freedom.
Diab added that he did not authorize Moussa to broadcast the show.
