Ramadan is about to raise its head, after which Amro Waked will release his new film “El Ott” (The Cat). That's right, as the feasts start on Eid Al Fitr, fans of the Egyptian star will be able to view his latest work.
The international actor has finished filming the scenes for the film directed by Ibrahim Al Batoot just in time to let the holy month begin.
According to Laha Magazine, the film tackles the very important topics of organ theft and the smuggling and selling of street children. Amro said, “The children of the streets are a very important issue because in Egypt there are over 2 million child living in the streets. For this reason we must shed light on this phenomena.”
No rest for the wicked clearly because Amro is also preparing for another film titled “Aswad Wardi” (Flowery Black) alongside Egyptian actor Jamil Rateb. The project will be directed by Osama Fawzi.
Oh, and don't be deceived on social media. Amro has also announced that he discovered a forged page on Facebook in his name and asked his fans to not interact with this page or believe any statements made on his behalf.
