Hanan Turk says no to "Super Hunaidi," Amy Samir Ghanem is game!
Young Egyptian actress Amy Samir Ghanem has said yes to starring in the new cartoon series “Super Hunaidi,” which stars and was created by Egyptian comedian actor Mohammed Hunaidi.
Amy's acceptance of the role comes after former Egyptian actress Hanan Turk turned down the role and insisted on sticking to her decision of completely resigning from her acting career, a decision she made two years ago.
Mohammad had relentlessly tried to convince Hanan to resume filming the cartoon by telling her that only her voice will be heard and her face won’t be on camera, but she declined all of his best attempts.
According to the Middle East news portal Elaph, Amy has already started dubbing her character’s voice at the Muna Abu Al Nasr Studio with the rest of her cast members, including actor Talat Zakaria, Alaa Mursi and Hassan Husni.
The cartoon series is scheduled to air this Ramadan season.
A few years ago, Amy dubbed the voice of a character named “Tamtam” in the cartoon series “Bugi & Tamtam.” The cartoon didn’t achieve any significant success for her, but will this one?
