Hollywood actress and humanitarian Angelina Jolie tried to get into Sudan to speak about religious freedom recently.
Angelina Jolie was banned from entering Sudan by visa authorities of the country recently.
As per local media, Peter Tibber from the British embassy in Sudan, confirmed that the beauty was absent at the event.
However, Jolie lend her presence at the event through a video, where she asked Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir to respect the fundamental right to freedom of religion, after the administration had issued death sentence of Meriam Yahya Ibrahim, a Christian woman who refused to give up her religion, and was convicted of apostasy, with the grave implications.
