Anger rages from Paris to New York between Yusra and Nour El Sherif
Prominent Egyptian actors Yusra and Nour El Sherif will star in the new movie by Yousuf Shahin “Al Ghadab” (Anger). Yousuf Shahin decided to begin shooting for his new film on January 11, 2003. The film will take three months to shoot and should be ready by end of March.
The Egyptian weekly Star reported that Shahin is currently having scenes acted out and practiced in his personal office with the presence of the stars of the film Yusra and Nour El Sherif and a number of new faces to the screen.
The movie will be shot between France and the US with scenes from Paris, New York, and California. The story of the film is about an Egyptian director who has lived in the United States from the beginning of his film education up to the September 11th attack.
Yusra won the prize as best actress for her role in the film al A’sefah (Thunderstorm) directed by Khaled Yousef at the Egyptian Oscar Awards but she did not attend the ceremony because she was busy with the play Lamma Baba Yanam (When Dad Sleeps).
Yusra currently stars as a single mother of two in the new TV series “Ayna Qalbi” (Where is my Heart). The story is about an architect, Yusra, whose loyalty to her profession causes her many problems as she discovers mistakes in most of building foundations she is working in. Yusra will have to face many enemies and struggles to overcome all obstacles to ensure security for her children.
Noor Al Sherif meets again with screenwriter Mustafa Moharram and director Mohammed al Naqli in the new series “Al Attar wa al Sabe’ Banat” (The Spice Trader and the Seven Girls), in which he plays two different characters. Playing the character of the father ‘Al Hag Saleh’ and the son ‘Abdul Rahman’, who carries the profession of spice trading after his father’s death. Al Sherif will be delivering a new vision about family life amid the cultural and social changes over the years.
After the huge success of his last TV series “A’elat Al Hag Mitwalli” (Mitwalli’s Family), Al Sherif will attempt to capture television viewers once again as he did last Ramadan, according to Al Akhbar newspaper.
Noor Al Sherief first appearance on the screen was more than 30 years ago. In 1967 he played the role of Kamal Abdul Jawwad, a trilogy by Nobel Prize winner Najeeb Mahfouz. From that date onwards, his ability to stand in front of the camera improved no end.
