Anoshka becomes a TV announcer
Egyptian singer Anoshka has announced that she plans on dedicating all her time in the upcoming few days to working on her new album, which features nine songs. Anoshka revealed that her upcoming album is extremely different from all her previous albums and is in the process of choosing two songs to film in the form of a music video to be aired on all music satellite channels.
According to the London based daily, Dar Al Hayat, Anoshka stressed that she had for the first time throughout her career experienced being a television announcer through Dubai television. The singer noted that the experience was a very interesting one and that she does not mind doing it again on a temporary basis.
Previously, Anoshka announced that she had accepted the leading role in the new play "Al Li'ba Al Majnoona" (The Crazy Game) alongside Egyptian actors Al Muntasir Billah and Osama Abbas. Extensive preparations for the comedy play with regards to décor, script, and rehearsals are currently underway.
Anoshka stated that being on stage gives her the feeling of utter satisfaction that she tries to take advantage of every opportunity given to her. She had previously took part in different plays, on of which is "Awlad Al Ghadab Wal Hub" (Children of Anger and Love).
The singer has also revealed that she is facing difficulty in finding a production company who is willing to adopt her work. The singer revealed that she would most probably be funding the release of the album on her own refusing to jeopardize her singing career.
The singer had personally funded her previous album and plans to do the same once more, saying that her singing is the most important issue in her life and she is not willing to give it up no matter what the cost may be. -Albawaba.com
