Arab love in Hide Park London
A number of Arab actors will appear in the new television drama series “Love in Hide Park,” written by Sawsan Qabsi and directed by Natheer Awad.
The series stars Syrian actor Farah Bsaiso, one of the co-hosts of the “Kalam Nawa’em” (Feminine Talk) talk show. The series also stars Yasir Al Masri, Dawood Jalal, Dana Al Ish, Fouz Al Shati, Hani Al Shibani, Muhammad Al Mani’, Dohail Jiba’ie, Amirah Hani, Ahmad Maher, and Mariam Al Ghamdi.
According to the London daily Elaph, the drama focuses on social issues concerning Arabs who reside in London, and begins with a young Arab woman and man who meet at Hide Park in London and fall in love.
The series revolves around four young Arabs. A wealthy Saudi Abed Al Rahman, who is battling with his father Khaled Al Hajari over how to manage their company. There is also Ahmad from the United Arab Emirates who just arrived in London to finish his architecture degree, hoping to work in Dubai. Manal is a successful doctor working at a London hospital, and lastly Riyad, is a Jordanian artist visiting London and trying to stay.
The series will be filmed in London, Morocco, Egypt and in Jordan, and is produced by the ‘Jordanian Arabic Center the DEF.’ The center is also producing the Bedouin drama series “Ras Ghlais” (Ghlais’s Head) part two.
