DJ joins the Dogg in Dubai: Armin Van Helden set for NYE show

Top US DJ Armin Van Helden has joined the line-up for the Atelier New Year’s Eve concert headlined by rapper Snoop Dogg, organisers Alchemy Project announced on Wednesday. Van Helden, the DJ behind the 1990s hits ‘You Don’t Even Know Me’ and a legendary remix of Tori Amos’ ‘Professional Widow’, will fill the DJ slot at the event which takes place at Meydan on December 31.

Also on the line-up is the British band Faithless, Gorillaz Soundsystem and Romanian electro star Inna.

Tickets for the concert are on sale now, with a discount for those bought in November: Dh400 (standard, Dh500 in December and Dh600 on the door); Dh750 (VIP, Dh850 in December and Dh950 at the door); and Dh1,500 (platinum, with unlimited food and beverages and an elevated area near the stage, Dh1,750 in December and Dh2,000 on the night).
