Just for laughs: Palestinian standup comedian Aron Kader to perform in LA this April
Get ready for an awesome night of comedy as prominent Palestinian standup comedian Aron M Kader will be headlining an evening of Middle East comedy on Thursday April 10 at the Levantine Center in Los Angeles.
Not only will you laugh with six Middle Eastern American stand-up comedians on the night, but you'll get to browse a silent art auction by talented Arab/Middle Eastern artists!
The Levantine Cultural Center champions a greater understanding of the Middle East and North Africa by presenting artistic and educational programs that bridge political and religious divides. It includes the creative work of Arabs, Jews and other ethnic/religious groups with Mideast origins who are living in the West.
All profits will go to the Levantine Cultural Center, the only nonprofit cultural arts center for the Middle East and North Africa in southern California that consistently presents voices of progress on the MENA.
Kader is an American comedian of Palestinian and American descent. The comedian was born into a Muslim and Mormon family. He spent his early years in Provo, Utah. His father, Omar Kader, was a professor of Political Science at Brigham Young University who went on to found a government contracting firm in Northern Virginia. His mother, Dr. Nancy Stowe Kader, a native of Ogden, Utah, is a bioethicist and management consultant with a nursing degree from BYU.
VIP ticket cost $50 (includes a gift and best seats), $35 for Preferred Seating and $25 for General Admission.
