It has been confirmed that the upcoming album by Syrian singer Asalah Nasri, which will be released in a few days, will hold the title “Hayati” (My Life). The album will mark the first the singer releases after divorcing her ex-husband Aiman Al Thahabi, and marrying director Tareq Al Arian.

According to the London based Elaph, the album will feature a number of special requests and actual instances from the singer’s life transformed into words and music. The main song of the album “Hayati”, which is also the title of the CD, is a special request from Asalah to herself and the song takes listeners through the journey of her life.

Another special request in the album is the song “Bain Eidaik” (In Your Arms), which Asalah dedicates especially to her new husband Tareq. There are other songs the singer dedicates to her children.

Shortly after Asalah married Tareq, she began recording the songs for her album.

Rumors had begun circulating that Asalah's ex-husband filed a lawsuit against her demanding that she pay a 5 million US dollar fine for breaking their contract. Rumors claim, Asalah signed a contract with Aiman when they were married giving him exclusive rights to her music.

Tareq confirmed that Asalah is currently in Beirut and has not been notified of a lawsuit. There are no legal disputes between Asalah and Aiman because she was previously under contract with production company 'Rotana,' he asserted.

Tareq also stated that Asalah did not sign a contract with his company, 'Star Jet Production,' but only sought his assistance in recording some of the songs.
