Sources have revealed that prominent Syrian singer Asalah Nasri will be signing a contract with the music production company Rotana during a special ceremony in Dubai. Negotiations between Asalah and Rotana had been going on and off for the past three years until an agreement was finally reached.
According to the London based Elaph, the contract is for three years and the company will have the sole rights to producing all of the singer’s albums and music videos. Asalah revealed that she is very happy about joining Rotana’s family, and in doing so has become the 103 member.
On a different note, circulating rumors had it that Asalah was living in a state of agony over marriage problems she encountered with her husband. The problems had escalated leading her to fall into a state of severe depression, as was noticed by some of her closest friends. Rumors had it that disputes had erupted between her and her husband, Aiman Al Thahabi, despite the fact that she is currently residing on a permanent basis with him in Dubai.
Some speculate that problems rose after Asalah underwent a new plastic surgery, which she was not satisfied with its results leading her to acquire a bad temper. The singer had also encountered several problems during the Dubai Nights Festival due to mismanagement of the organizers leading her concert not to be successful. Most critics adding to her state of depression also criticized Asalah’s dress during her concert.
