Lebanese singer Assi El Hillani was born in 1973. He made his appearance as a singer on the Lebanese Television’s ‘Studio El Fan’ (Studio of Arts) in 1992.
The singer won the Best Traditional Music Category and never looked back.
Assi was so good at traditional ‘Huwara’ singing, that he actually stole the title of ‘The New Huwara King’ from his predecessor Alan Mireb.
After coming out a winner from ‘Studio El Fan’, Hillani earned the love of his audience with songs such as Wanna Marig Mar’reit (While I Passed By), Ya Naker El Ma’arouf (You Betrayed My Trust), Ya Meima (name), Dillouni (Show Me) and his final album Mitl El Kizbe (Like It Was a Lie), which secured first place in various competitions for the best Arabic song.
At the personal level, the singer is married to Miss Lebanon 1991 and former model Colette Bulsan, with whom he has a boy and a girl.
