Lebanese singer Assi Hilani has revealed that the disputes between him and his production company Rotana have finally ended and they were based on mere misunderstandings. Assi made his announcement during a press conference he held in Cairo at a charitable event for the Woman Development Association Hayati.

According to the London based Elaph, Assi stressed that the disputes with Rotana were minor ones and were resolved in no time. During the press conference the singer made a shocking revelation which was that his mother's gold necklace was behind the production of his first song. The singer revealed that at the start of his career a song cost 5 thousand Lebanese Liras to be produced and he only had 3 at the time. He added that the only way he could have launched his career was with his mother's necklace.

Hilani has announced that he will release his upcoming album immediately after the end of the Muslim fasting month of Ramadan. The singer came to an agreement with his production company Rotana to delay the release until the Muslim holiday Eid Al Fitr due to the fact that too many albums have been released during this period and that will reflect negatively on the success of his album.

The singer revealed that his new album will include a variety of songs sung in the Lebanese and Egyptian accents and will feature new surprises. The singer added that his new work is a shifting point in his career in the sense that he introduces a new meaning to songs and gives them new meaning.

On a similar note, a dispute had broken out between Rotana and Assi after the release of his last musical album “Forsat 3omor” (A Chance of a Lifetime). Assi was expecting a huge success for the album because he made major changes in the ideas he presented this time, but was shocked to see the opposite. -Albawaba.com
