Egyptian actress Athar Al Hakim is seriously considering an offer from director Issam Al Sayyed to costar in the play Al Muwaten Masri (The Egyptian Citizen) along with Ahmed Khalil.
Hakim asked to be given some time to think it over, in view of the fact that theater working hours might not suit her family-oriented lifestyle.
The actress has reportedly set a goal of spending the most time possible with her sons, a goal that has become more important since the death of her own mother.
The last appearance of the star on the big screen was in Anbar Wal Alwan (Anbar and the Colors), produced by the Information Production City, in which she starred alongside Hussein Fahmi.
Meanwhile, Hakim has wrapped up the shooting of her role in the film Ashghal Shaqah (Hard Work), scripted by Faisal Nada, directed by Ahmed Al Sabaawi and costarring Majed Al Massri and Sami Al Adel - Albawaba.com
