Attempts of reconciliation between producer Mohsen Jabr, owner of Alam El Phan Production Company, and Lebanese singer Ragheb Alama have failed, after each side refused to meet the conditions of the other. Ragheb decided to end his cooperation with Alam El Phan completely after the later decided to postpone the release of his new album several times.

Alama claims that his album was ready four months ago and Jabr is temporizing the release because he is busy working with other singers in his company. Ragheb revealed to the media that a production company or a producer would not affect his relationship with his fans and he will release the album on his own expense.

The fruit of the cooperation between Jabr and Alama was two albums “Saharouni El Leil and Tab Leih” and the third one has not yet been released, which is what triggered thedispute between the two.

Muhsin revealed that he was able to save his company during the last two years after it had passed through some of its hardest time and was in danger of being ruined. Muhsin stressed that the problems his company went through were mainly due to rumors that were created by the media that rose to the surface with the appearance of new competitors.

Rumors kept surfacing as singers in Alam El Phan began shifting to other competitors and the media focused on them mainly ignoring the big names that remained in the company or the new ones that were joining it.

With regards to how Muhsin feels about Alama, he revealed that he likes him on the personal level and respects him as a singer, but if the singer is threatening to leave the company, then Muhsin noted that it is up to him and his leaving would not affect the company in any way. Muhsin added that he will keep on going and won't allow his company to fall apart no matter what.

Alama had threatened to leave Alam El Phan after they have been continuously delaying the release of his upcoming album. Disputes erupted between Ragheb and Jabr, after the later postponed the release more than three times and the situation reached a dead-end.

The singer had placed the final touches on his upcoming album and finalized it over two months ago in the hope that it will be launched in the beginning of the summer season. Ragheb had repeatedly tried to pressure Muhsin in releasing the album, but the latter kept delaying the matter making the singer go into an outrage.

Ragheb announced that this album will be the last he will produce with Alam El Phan, and that he will not renew his three-year contract, which is about to end. –Albawaba.com
