The Moroccan City of Aghadeer is gearing up for hosting the first session of “Agahdeer Festival between Originality and Modernity” which will be held during the period between July 23-August 20 under the banner “Culture with All Types”.
The festival will be opened by a concert to be performed by the Lebanese singer Bascal Mashalani and Moroccan artist Mohammed Damo at Riyadat Palace in Aghadeer. The concerts will be performed three days a week (Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday).
Among the names nominated for participation in the performance of the concerts are Samira Said, Ehab Tawfiq, Mohammed Munir and the Moroccan Rai singer Cheb Bilal and other Moroccan singers whose names have not been disclosed yet.
In addition to the concerts, the festival program includes other activities such as Moroccan traditional cooking days and an exhibition on the diversity of the Moroccan culture through photographs, transcripts, traditional jewelry and round tables about Moroccan kitchen and familiarization with the city touristic potentials.
However, this festival is not linked with Aghadeer Festival for Music and Tarab organized last year by ART channel in association with Aghadeer Governorate -- Albawaba.com
