Lebanese artist Basima has returned after a long absence with a new album, produced by music production company ‘Rotana.’ The new album, called “Helm Al Toyoor” (Bird’s Dream) features six songs.
According to the London daily Elaph, Basima, who became famous after her song “Dawbni Doob” (Melt Me), has a strong, romantic voice.
She has been working on the album for the past two years.
Basima said that the song “Helm Al Toyoor” is a romantic song that fans will memorize soon after its release.
“Helm Al Toyoor” was written by Samir Nakhlah, composed by Samir Sfair and distributed by the musician Tareq Akif.
Basima’s other songs on the new album are “Hayda Al Gharam” (This is love), “Shi Tabie” (It Normal), “Jaibli Al Eid” (Brought Me Celebration), “Sawa Ala Tool” (Together forever) and “Mitel Al Naes” (Like people).
Basima is working with directors from Rotana to make her first music video clip.
