The stars of Bollywood descend on Dubai
The cast and crew of upcoming Bollywood movie 'Heartless' have been filming in Dubai.
Directed by actor Shekhar Suman, the movie is a medical thriller starring his son Adhyayan.
The team was seen shooting a song on Sheikh Zayed Road in an empty lot close to Tim Hortons coffee shop near the Dubai Mall Metro station.
The shoot featured Adhyayan and his leading lady, Giselli Monteiro, dancing with three Lambhorgini cars in the background. Several extras were also part of the scene.
Curious onlookers lined the narrow lane to try and get a glimpse of the action.
A store manager from Tim Horton's SZR branch, who was present at the location, said he spoke to Suman during the shoot.
"I asked him when the film will release - he said in March 2013," said Abdul Lateef Ansari. "He told me he is making the film for his son.”
Suman who also stopped by the outlet to buy some coffee also told Ansari: "Adhyayan was there too with his heroine – but she's his girlfriend in real life too."
Suman, who is best known for his popular TV-show 'Movers and Shakers', is making his directorial debut as a tribute to his late son Aayush.
The actor-turned-film maker lost his son to congenital heart disease.
Aayush was born in 1983 and Shekhar learned about his disease in late 1990. He lost his son after four years of struggle, on July 22, 1994.
Adhyayan plays the guy afflicted with the disease and how his life changes when a girl enters his life and he undergoes surgery.
Suman will also play a special role in the film.
