Cancer places the life of Rami Ayash at great risk

Young Lebanese singer Rami Ayash has publicly announced that he is suffering from the deadly disease cancer is on a daily struggle for his life. The singer made his revelation during the program Maestro, on the Arab satellite television channel New TV with announcer Nishian. 

According to Al Watan daily, the audience was in shock when the presenter of the show asked Rami if he was suffering from a deadly disease and the singer answered yes. Then the announcer asked Rami if the illness was cancer and the singer nodded his head, leading the announcer to walk up to the singer and hug him. At this point both men began crying and the episode was immediately cut off.  

The presenter of the show was attacked by critics after the heart touching episode accusing him of taking advantage of Rami’s health to attract more viewers. It was added that Rami was caused a great deal of pain to make such an announcement and that it had also affected the singer’s friends, family and fans. 

The incident is similar to the one faced last week during the hosting of prominent Egyptian actress Sofia Al Omari on the live program “Maestro”, and the actress had suddenly passed out. It was revealed that the actress had fainted due to the fact that during the interview a reportage was screened about a humanitarian condition of two old people who are suffering from illness and neglect, and as a result of watching these painful scenes the actress could not control her splurge of emotions.  

Close contacts to the actress know that Sofia is a very sensitive person and can not handle watching people suffer, and so the presenter was requested to stop screening the reportage and especially due to the fact that the old woman shown resembles Sofia’s mother, who passed away not too long ago. Sofia had begun crying once the announcer showed the report and was forced to go off air and go to commercials.  

The state of sadness for the actress continued throughout the interview and got worse as the announcer kept asking questions about the reportage and her personal life forcing him to go to commercials several times. The actress suddenly was unable to speak and suddenly fainted and went unconscious until the Lebanese Red Cross arrived and immediately transferred the actress to hospital. 

Ayash recently released his new musical album “Ya Msahhar Ayni”, which contains 8 songs, under the production of Rotana Production Company. Rotana had been postponing the release, which was to be last year, for mysterious reasons. The singer released a new music video for the song "Bahwak" (I Adore You) on the satellite channel ART. The song was filmed in Turkey last summer under the direction of Said Ma'rouk. 

The singer, who has been away from the scenes for some time, is hopeful that his new album will prove a strong comeback for him. Rami was counting on the early release of his album especially to promote himself for the summer festivals.
