Lebanese singer Carol Samaha recently visited the Children’s Cancer Center in Lebanon to perform her latest single, “Shu Hilweh El DInia” (How Beautiful Life Is).
The new song was composed and distributed by Jan Mari Riashi, and was written by Nizar Francis.
According to the London based Elaph, Carol toured the center and visited with the children and their families during her visit, and gave each child a special Christmas gift.
After her visit, Carol attended a special celebration held at Virgin Mega Stores in the heart of Beirut for the signing of her new CD.
Carol has held different charitable concerts in Beirut, the last being in November along with a fashion show for internationally renowned Lebanese designer Elli Saab. American singer Phil Collins, who was in Lebanon preparing for a performance, attended the concert.
Recently, a Tunisian concert company attempted to scam Carol, making arrangements with her to hold a number of concerts around Tunisia. The sponsor never arranged any of the concerts, and the entire deal was a not so carefully orchestrated scam. The singer immediately cancelled her trip and began preparing for the concerts she really will hold this summer in Lebanon and around the Arab world.
