Lebanese singer Carol Samaha is currently preparing for a number of entertaining activities starting with being a guest on the program “Akeed Maestro” (For Sure a Maestro), hosted by Nishian on the Lebanese satellite channel New TV on October 29.
According to the London based Elaph, on November 4, Carol will hold a charity concert in Beirut, which will also be accompanied by a fashion show for internationally known Lebanese designer Elli Saab. Internationally famous American singer Phil Collins will be attending the charity concert, since he is currently in Lebanon preparing for a grand performance.
Carol will also be travelling to Doha Qatar on November 22, to hold a special performance in celebration of Lebanon’s Independence Day with the honorary presence of Lebanon’s President Emile Lahoud.
Recently, a Tunisian concert sponsor attempted to scam Carol, making arrangements with her to hold a number of concerts around Tunisia with no intention of scheduling the concerts.
Just before her departure from Lebanon, Carol discovered that the sponsor’s itinerary was only a con.
The sponsor never arranged any concerts, and the entire deal was a not so carefully orchestrated scam. The singer immediately cancelled her trip and began preparing for the concerts she really will hold this summer in Lebanon and around the Arab world.
