While most celebrities have been supporting the victims of the Gaza war by cancelling their performances in Palestine and Israel, or by posting messages of solidarity on their social media accounts, Lebanese sweetheart Carole Samaha has decided to go in a different direction and donate her entire earnings from her latest concert to the children of Gaza.
The concert was part of the Timgad Festival in Algeria. The singer wrote on Facebook, "Good Morning from Algeria, the proceeds of my concert in Algeria will go to the children of Gaza."
The presence of Palestine was very much apparent in the way the stage was decorated. The Palestinian flag was displayed on huge screens behind the singer and her band, while Carole wore a long Palestinian flag around her neck as she sang for charity.
Good on ya Miss Samaha!
